SAMI ÖZER

Sami Özer studied Classical Turkish music for 13 years at the Üsküdar Music Society. After his education, he produced a wide repertoire of classical Turkish music and Sufi music. In the “Golden Voice” contest held in 1974, he received the first prize in the genre of Turkish art music. In the following years, he successfully worked with TRT and Istanbul Radio. Sami Özer may be best known for his composition Amir Ateş. Additional credits include Ey Allahım (1-2-3), Divane Gönlüm, İnliyoruz Hasretinle, and Hû.
