Zeugma Mosaic Museum, located in the town of Gaziantep, Turkey, is the largest mosaic museum in the world. The collection includes more than 1,700 square meters of mosaics and features mosaics from the Roman site of Belkıs-Zeugma (thought to have been founded by a general in Alexander the Great’s army) before the Birecik Dam flooded most of the site forever. The collection includes The Birth of Venus and Gypsy Girl mosaics. Gyspy Girl is sometimes referred to as the Turkish Mona Lisa.Zeugma Mosaic Museum
