Idil Yavaş, the founder and creative driver behind Bakır Istanbul Copperworks, refined her creative drive and business acumen while  working for Williams-Sonoma Inc. With the warmth of copper as her inspiration, she followed her entrepreneurial spirit and founded Bakır Istanbul. The hand-crafted treasures at Bakır Istanbul are the manifestation of Idil’s spirit, dreams and hard-work.
